Barbara Mastej-
has been actively assisting in running Parkway Manufacturing since 1993.
She began with handling all of the administration work for the company,
as well as making deliveries to customers.
Barbara is now the operations manager for the company, overseeing all
office and production work and handling human resources and payroll.
Her previous experience includes reception work, office administration,
and customer service. She graduated
from Nansemond Suffolk Academy in 1994 and then from Christopher Newport
University in 2001 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a
concentration in management. She
currently resides with her husband and son in Portsmouth, VA. Barbara and her
husband Mike are also the owners of Jetsam construction.
Jef Houston-
has been with our company since 2005. Jef
supervises all fabrication, welding and machining operations as well as maintenance work.
His previous experience includes working as a heavy machinery mechanic,
work in roofing and the construction industry, as well as sheet metal work.
He is also the assembly mechanic of the Teka concrete mixers.
Jef graduated from Menchville High School in 1982 and currently resides
in Southside, VA
Mark Jones - has been with our company since early 2009. Mark is our structural and ornamental steel estimator. Mark came to Parkway with an extensive background in all types of shop and field fabrication. Mark is local to our area and resides with his wife and children in the Southside Hampton Roads area.
Walter Schultz - is a machinist by trade and since 1986 a local business owner. Walter began his trade in the mid 60s by completely a four year Virginia State Apprentice program in Norfolk. Walter has mostly worked in the manufacturing field with a few of the area's largest manufacturing concerns. Walter began his business as Precision Products where he repaired precision measuring tools.
Walter is a graduate of Maury High School in Norfolk. Walter and his wife Judy are also avid and active dancers and dance instructors in Tidewater area and are the owners of Two Step Tidewater, Inc.
